My pipes, they be misbehaving. To be more specific, the chanter is misbehaving. I can't get anything but a hiss out of it. But if I blow on it directly it makes noise. Well, a little bit of noise. Sort of a squawk and then silence. Then another little squawk. It's not...it's not continuous. It 'shuts off' and when I plug the chanter into the bag then it just goes 'ssssss.'
It's not the bag (whew) as I've corked the chanter and drone stocks and inflated it. That was 5 minutes ago. It's still mostly full. :D
What could it be? Is my reed fucked already? I've been all over teh google trying to figure this out...
